The accolades recognize that the website for Jamaica Inn, recently named the Second Best Hotel in the Caribbean by TripAdvisor, surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the web’s most professional work. The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. In order to win these awards, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.

Jamaica InnThe Interactive Media Award competition is open to individuals and organizations involved in designing, developing, managing, supporting and promoting websites. Nominations were accepted from around the world from web design firms, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments, among others. The competition was intense with over 600 websites entered.
