Jamaica Inn and Nisbet Plantation, Nevis Win Distinguished Website Awards
These two small luxury Caribbean hotels both sport 5-Star TripAdvisor rankings and partner with MP&A Digital + Advertising for integrated Customer Relationship Marketing (iCRM). Now they have something else in common – both Jamaica Inn and Nisbet Plantation won Silver for their new website designs in the recent W³ Awards.
The W³ Awards, judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, honor creative excellence on the web, and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites. The W³ web competition included over 5,000 entries from around the world by the biggest agencies to the smallest firms. The MP&A websites for Jamaica Inn and Nisbet Plantation stood out against those from Fortune 500 companies and large international agencies.
Website entries were judged on six factors: creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design, and ease of use.
Jamaica Inn Wins W³ User Experience Award
Making it easy for visitors to quickly navigate a website so they can find the information they need to make a purchase is critical in today’s digital world.
In web design the user experience factors in how an individual may feel when navigating a site. How they respond intellectually and emotionally and how quickly they find the information they need helps determine what actions they may take. Jamaica Inn is looking to encourage visitors to book online or call the resort.
“Creating a responsive and adaptive website making it easy to turn lookers into bookers were important objectives in developing our new website,” said Kyle Mais, general manager for Jamaica Inn. “ This distinguished W³ User Experience Award is affirmation we have accomplished our goal.”

Nisbet Plantation, Nevis Wins W³ Hotel Website Award
Innovation in hotel website development and design continues to evolve at an ever increasing rate. It is a very competitive environment with some sites costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. It’s interesting to see that a small 36-room hotel like Nisbet Plantation can effectively compete on the world stage against chain and independent hotels many times its size.
“From the very first time I saw the original layouts for Nisbet’s new website I knew it was going to be beautiful,” said Alistair Forrest, general manager of Nisbet Plantation on Nevis, the Caribbean island that time forgot. “And now it’s the Silver award winner in a category with some of the stiffest competition in the world. I am quite pleased and exceptionally thankful.”
